The basic ingredients in gajar ka halwa is carrots. carrot are full of vitamin A,B ,C,K and fiber.
Adding milk to the  halwa  add calcium and protien to the dish.
 The cashews and  almond add to the protein and antioxidants in the halwa.
carrot halwa is a pakistani & indian pudding made with  carrots, nuts, fresh milk, sugar and ghee. it is made by simmering  grated carrots in full fat milk and then sweetened with sugar flavored  with cardamom mixed with khoya and garnish with nuts and khoya.
Carrot halwa can be made with different ways.
1:Traditional method using with whole milk
2: condensed milk

Grate the carrots with  hand held  carrot grater. you can grate thick and thin depend on you how you like carrot halwa but i have used larger grating
